Morari Bapu Dedicates 9 Crore for Relief Efforts in Quake-hit Myanmar

Gujarat, Ahmedabad 31 March 2025: In the Uttarakand section of the Ramcharitmanas, Goswami Tulsidas describes the nature of a saint, comparing it to butter — soft and compassionate. A saint’s heart is like fresh butter, melting at the sight of others’ suffering. This definition seems to come to life through Morari Bapu, who has donated 9 crore to Myanmar in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake.

Myanmar experienced a catastrophic earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale on Friday. Tremors were felt as far as China and India. According to reports, over 1,000 people have been confirmed dead, while estimates suggest the death toll could exceed 10,000. The country has also suffered significant loss of property.

Morari Bapu learnt about the tragic incident in Argentina, where he is delivering his 954th Ram Katha. Morari Bapu expressed his heartfelt condolences to the people of Myanmar and also dedicated 9 crore according to Myanmar Currency for relief efforts. The financial assistance will be delivered to the Myanmar Redcross by UK-based Ram Katha followers, Dolarbhai Popat and Rameshbhai Sachdev.

Additionally, Morari Bapu offered prayers for the people who lost their lives in this tragic disaster.
