10th Edition of Prime Day in India Becomes the Fastest Prime Day Ever!

  • In cities with Amazon Now, one in every two items on deal were delivered in just minutes. Over 3X more products were delivered within a few hours, or same day compared to last Prime Day.
  • More than 70% of Prime membership sign-ups came from tier 2 and 3 cities.
  • Prime Day 2026 marked the highest-ever participation of small and medium businesses, with a record number of sellers crossing INR 10 lakh in sales and more than two-thirds of participating SMBs coming from tier 2 and 3 cities.

BENGALURU | 10th JULY 2026 | Amazon India today announced that its 10th edition of Prime Day was its fastest Prime Day ever, with one in two items on deal being delivered in just minutes, in cities with Amazon Now. Spanning across categories from premium electronics and beauty to everyday essentials, customers enjoyed ultrafast deliveries, with same-day deliveries surging over 3X and reaching Tier 2 and 3 cities such as Hoshiarpur, Ujjain and Dharwad amongst others. With more than 70% of new Prime sign-ups coming from tier 2 and 3 cities, Prime has truly become a membership for Bharat.

Everyday Made Better with Prime

  • Prime members shopping on Amazon Now enjoyed free delivery on orders above INR 99, with a INR 200 cashback on orders above INR 1,499, zero fees on all orders, and assured cashback on every purchase.
  • Prime members shopped for exciting deals on Amazon Now and got their products delivered within minutes. Nearly half the orders on Amazon Now this Prime Day were beyond groceries including cameras, personal care appliances and more.
  • Same-day deliveries surged more than 3X over last Prime Day — with 1 in 4 Prime Day orders reaching customers the same day. Moreover, more than half of all Prime Day orders were delivered before the end of the event. 

Premiumization across categories

  • Premium beauty—including skincare, haircare, fragrances and makeup—grew 3X YoY, while premium grooming appliances (above INR 2,500) doubled YoY.
  • Customers upgraded their home entertainment, with premium TVs (above INR 35,000) growing 2X YoY and demand shifting towards larger-screen televisions (65-inch and above).
  • Premium travel luggage grew 1.5X YoY, led by brands such as Samsonite, Delsey Paris, Swiss Military and Victorinox.

Bharat drove the next wave of aspirational shopping

  • Two-wheelers grew 1.65X YoY, with premium bikes above INR 1.5 lakh surging 2.3X YoY — led by Harley-Davidson, KTM, Triumph and Royal Enfield. 7 in 10 buyers of Harley-Davidson, KTM and Triumph motorcycles came from tier 2 and 3 cities.
  • International Home & Kitchen brands grew 4.5X YoY in tier 2 and 3 cities, outpacing national growth and reflecting rising demand for aspirational brands beyond the metros.

Customers embraced AI-powered technology and smarter homes

  • AI PCs accounted for one in five Windows laptops sold during Prime Day.
  • New-age kitchen products—including robotic vacuums, coffee machines and ice makers—grew 4.3X YoY.
  • Smart water purifiers attracted 2X more customers, as households increasingly invested in connected home solutions.

Flexible payments unlocked bigger purchases

  • Nearly one in two shoppers chose Amazon Pay as their preferred payment method during Prime Day.
  • One in four purchases across mobiles, TVs, electronics and large appliances were made on EMI, with four out of five through No Cost EMI.
  • Interest-free installments on Amazon Pay Later grew over 2.5X YoY, making premium purchases more accessible.

Businesses shopped bigger than ever

  • Amazon Business recorded a 3.6X increase in new customer sign-ups and a 10X spike in Prime sign-ups during Prime Day.
  • Bulk deals grew nearly 7X, led by categories such as laptops, televisions and headphones, as businesses took advantage of early access, fast delivery and exclusive Prime Day offers.

Prime Day became Amazon India’s biggest Sellerbration

  • Highest-ever participation of small and medium businesses, with a record number of sellers crossing INR 10 lakh in sales.
  • More than two-thirds of participating SMBs came from tier 2 and 3 cities, reinforcing Prime Day’s role in enabling entrepreneurship across Bharat. 

Entertainment on Prime Video

  • In the weeks leading up to Prime Day 2026, Prime Video premiered an array of Indian and international series and movies across multiple languages. Titles like Raakh, Drishyam 3, Gram Chikitsalay, Karuppu, Project Hail Mary, The Sheep Detectives and Your Fault: London among others were streamed across Bharat.
  • Critically acclaimed Prime Original series Raakh emerged as the standout title of the lineup, marking the biggest debut for any Prime Original series in the last 2 years. The investigative crime thriller topped charts as Prime Video’s most watched non-English series worldwide for three consecutive weeks, streamed by audiences in 198 countries and territories. The series trended #1 in 23 countries and entered the Top 10 list in 60 countries within days of its premiere.
  • Indian titles continued to attract a global audience, with viewers from over 207 countries and territories watching the Indian-language titles that released as part of Prime Video India’s Prime Day lineup.
