Ishani Dave and Shankus Entertainment Present “Badlaav: Chapter 1”, a Landmark Live Gujarati Music Experience

AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 26th MAY 2026 | Popular singer Ishani Dave, in collaboration with Shankus Entertainment, is set to present “Badlaav: Chapter 1”, an ambitious live concert production aimed at redefining the Gujarati music experience for contemporary audiences through world-class production, immersive storytelling and a modern artistic vision.

More than a conventional musical performance, the event seeks to celebrate and elevate Gujarati culture by presenting traditional and contemporary music in a format designed to resonate with younger generations while remaining rooted in tradition.

Ishani Dave’s musical journey began at the age of eight when she performed alongside her father, legendary Gujarati folk singer Praful Dave, at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall. Since then, she has taken Gujarati music to audiences across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US, Dubai and other international destinations. Among the defining moments of her career was her performance at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad before an audience of nearly one lakh people.

Speaking about the vision behind the project, Ishani Dave said, “Badlaav is our attempt to reimagine the Gujarati live music experience while staying true to our cultural roots. We want audiences to feel the energy, emotion and pride of Gujarati music through a production that matches global standards.”

The concert is the culmination of nearly four years of planning, creative development and production design. The project has involved thousands of hours of work dedicated to music curation, sound design, programming, visual storytelling and stage production, with the aim of creating a live experience unlike any previously seen in the Gujarati entertainment space.

Designed as a large-scale production, the evening will feature a massive stage setup, stadium-quality sound, immersive lighting, expansive truss structures, nearly 4,000 sq ft of LED screens and a range of special effects intended to create a cinematic concert experience.

Going beyond delivering a high-energy musical performance, the concert has been conceived as an immersive cultural experience where every visual, sound and performance element contributes to a larger narrative celebrating Gujarati identity, creativity and artistic evolution.

Through Badlaav: Chapter 1, Ishani Dave and Shankus Entertainment aim to establish a new benchmark for Gujarati live entertainment while showcasing the scale and potential of regional music on a global stage.

Scheduled to take place at Shankus Farm on SG Highway, Ahmedabad, on June 6, the show marks the beginning of that journey, bringing together music, culture, technology and storytelling in a first-of-its-kind live experience for Gujarati audiences.
