Around 35 Women Come Together for an Evening of Culture, Fellowship, Fun & Celebration
AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 08th AUGUST 2026 | Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline Tejasvini, a single-gender Rotary Club exclusively for women, organised a colourful and vibrant Teej Celebration on Saturday, 8th August 2026 at Cannella by Two Cloves, Ahmedabad, with the support of Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline.
The theme of the celebration was “Leheriya”, and around 35 ladies participated enthusiastically, dressed in colourful traditional attire and celebrating the rich traditions and cultural spirit associated with Teej.
The afternoon was packed with music, dance, games, delicious food, fellowship and bonding. Special attractions including a Mehendi Artist and Bangles Corner added a traditional touch to the festivities and created a lively atmosphere for everyone present.
The programme was organised on a self-contributory basis and witnessed excellent participation and engagement from the Skyline ladies, making it a true celebration of friendship and togetherness.

The occasion was further graced by the presence of First Lady Hemal Ravani, AG Jatinder Bhalla and AG Riya Asudani. Their presence, participation and encouragement added to the significance of the celebration.

The Leheriya Teej programme beautifully demonstrated that Rotary fellowship is not only about service but also about building friendships, celebrating our cultural heritage and creating stronger bonds among members and families.
